Colorado friends, I want to invite you to the Regis University Choir concert this Friday night. The program is entitled Heaven and Earth, and along with some other great music including Sephardic and Brazilian folks songs and a rousing work by Rollo Dillworth, they will be performing the premiere of my piece Sleep Now, Child. This is a gentle song for mixed choir and piano about comforting a child at nighttime. Clelyn Chapin will direct the concert, pianist Teresa Crane will be accompanying, and Luke Wachter will be playing percussion.
The premiere of Sleep Now, Child was supposed to have happened in April 2020, so this premiere has been a long time coming. I'm excited about it, and the rest of the concert, and hope to see you there!
