I am available (with some months notice) on commission to write a new piece for you, your ensemble, or a musician you know (makes a great gift!). I have written commissions for choir, orchestra, band, chamber ensemble, and soloists (ukulele, piano, flugelhorn, percussion, and others). I treasure the opportunity to collaborate with musicians and always work closely with the commissioner to create the perfect piece. I also enjoy adapting pieces for one instrumentation to another instrumentation–it is a fun compositional challenge! If you see a piece on my site and think, “Wouldn’t it be great if that were written for [my instrument],” get in touch! I am also comfortable writing for both amateurs and professionals. I consider it a privilege to write for both developing musicians and experts on their instruments.
Most of my scores are published by and available for purchase from Disegni Music (ASCAP). Liquid Sings for solo clarinet and Dimwit’s Delight for saxophone quartet are available from Friedrich Hofmeister. This Is It for percussion duo is available from Bachovich.
