Communities need music and movements need to move! Building movements for justice and growing resilient communities require not only shared values, but shared spiritual practice—shared singing. They require the deeper connections that only come through building something together for the long haul. Community singing has been one of the central tools for doing this work in nearly every culture and every age. With this new songbook, Loretta Notareschi offers a valuable gift to all of us. Building our common repertoire, exploring new songs and styles, and sharing resources like this are exactly what we need to build a more vibrant, a more musical movement together.
